Leon Shaw 
One of the world's most highly respected yacht builders, Leon Shaw formed Jefferson Yachts in 1982. His first yacht, a Jefferson 48' Cockpit Motor Yacht, inspired production of more than 500 yachts from the 37 Viscount Sundeck Motor Yacht to the grandest of them all, the 82' Starship Yacht.
Mr. Shaw is directly involved in the design and manufacture of every yacht in the series, applying a level of hands-on experience few yacht builders can match. And he has engineered every yacht from a yachtsman's point of view, measuring for operational ease, dependability, comfort and beauty.
